PRUDENT MARINE SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED is a Private Limited Company incorporated as per Indian Companies incorporation act and Guidelines on 25 October 2025.

The company was incorporated by Captain Gaurav Juneja having experience in shipping of more than 2 decades. The purpose is to serve to excel in the "Ship Management" providing quality services to global customers.

Prime objective of the company is to provide ship owners / Manager with Qualified and competent crew with prime objective of safety and quality.

The company is engaged in selection and supply of qualified manpower with prime objective of safety and quality towards operation of vessel engaged in international trade owned or managed by the customers / clients.

The goal is to maintain qualified and experience staff to provide quality services to the maritime industry in the field of manning and related services.

Our main and long-time objectives are to provide renowned, competitive and professional ship management / crewing services with particular emphasis safety at sea, quality, reliability and regularity.

We provide crew for different types of vessels which includes tanker ships (chemical, oil, product and crude), multipurpose cargo ships, log carriers, containers, bulk carrier, OSV's and passenger vessels on global trades. We put the skills and knowledge we have built over the years to good use throughout our company. Our success as a ship manager / crew managers is reflected in long-term relationships we have with our clients.

Our Team

Capt. Gaurav Juneja (Director)

A Master Mariner with more than 20 years sea experience. The founders joined hands to establish this company with a common objective of meeting the increasing demand for professional ship and crew management services in the maritime industry.

Marine and Technical Superintendents

They possess extensive experience with the fleet under management. They oversee the day-to-day technical and operational activities of vessels, ensuring compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental standards. They also monitor vessel performance and operating costs, coordinate repairs and inspections, and work closely with fleet management and other departments to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Crewing Manager

The Company's Crewing Manager holds approx. 25 years of experience in Crew Management. She takes care of crew performance, maintaining seafarer records, coordinating with manning agencies and stakeholders, managing training and documentation, and ensuring effective implementation of the Company's management system.

We at PRUDENT MARINE SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED are committed to provide Quality Services in the field of RECRUITMENT AND PLACEMENT OF SEAFARERS considering safety and cost effectiveness to all our valuable clients, selecting the suitably qualified and experienced seafarers keep in view the quality requirements of clients and enhance customer satisfaction.

1. No Fees or Other Charges for recruitment or for providing employment to seafarers are charged by the company directly or indirectly.

2. Repatriation of Crew while sign on and sign off will be on owners/manager's account.

3. We ensure the confidentiality of Personnel records of employment, personal data, sea service, Qualification, Medical data etc.

5. The company restricts re-employment of seafarers who have been found reported misconduct or advised unfit by the clients.

Recruitment Policy

We at PRUDENT MARINE SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED are proud to announce we are in the process of QMS (ISO 9001-2000) certified agency, and we recruit officers/ ratings to various reputed foreign as well as Indian Principals for their fleet comprising different types of vessels as per the rules framed by THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF SHIPPING, Mumbai. Our aim is to provide quality services to our clients and at the same time to safeguard the interest of the Indian Seafarers employed with our principals. Some of our main policy clauses are highlighted as below:

1. Up-to-date records of all seafarers recruited through our RPS Company are maintained, and it will be available for inspection by the inspecting authority, as and when required.

2. In order to have relevant knowledge of the Marine Industry, we will ensure to adequately train our staff on regular intervals to ensure the extent of duties assigned to them.

3. We ensure that the seafarers recruited or place by the RPS company are informed of their rights and duties under the employment agreements, prior to or in the process of their engagement and that proper arrangements are made for such seafarer to examine their employment agreements before and after they are signed on and also that they will be provided with the copies of said agreements.

4. We will verify that seafarers recruited or placed by our RPS Company are qualified and hold the documents necessary for the jobs concerned, and that the seafarer's employment agreements are in accordance with the prevailing flag state laws and regulations and any collective bargaining agreement that forms part of their employment agreement.

5. We will ensure, as far as practicable, that the ship owner has the means to protect such seafarers from being stranded in a port, and in such an event shall make adequate provision for repatriation of a stranded seafarer along with his maintenance and required emergency medical assistance prior to repatriation and the transportation of mortal remains of a seafarer in the event of his death subject to national regulation's.

6. We will examine promptly and adequately and respond to any complaint concerning RPS activities and inform the Director General of Shipping about any unresolved complaints.

7. We shall ensure that no means or mechanism or lists are used to prevent or deter seafarers from gaining an employment for which they are qualified.

8. We shall ensure that no fees or other charges is borne, directly or indirectly, in whole are in part by the seafarer, other than cost to the seafarers in obtaining Seaman Book (Continuous Discharge certificate cum Seafarers identification document), Passport or other similar documents. Provided that the cost of visa, and charges for pre sign on and post sign off, medical examination, wherever required, shall be borne by the ship owner, and record of charges if any collected from the seafarer shall be maintained in registers.

9. We will ensure that any incident or causality on-board causing injury (excluding minor injuries) or death, disappearance, loss overboard or homicide by or of an Indian National, is reported to the Director General of Shipping at the earliest and not later than twenty-four hours of the receipt of such incidents.

10. We will develop and maintain operational practices to verify the seafarer's medical examination; identity documents and such other items as may be required for seafarers to gain employment.

11. We will maintain up to date list of ships, owned by the ship owners for which the recruitment and placement service provide seafarers and ensure that there are reasonable means by which ships can be contacted in an emergency, round the clock.

12. We will ensure that seafarers are not subject to exploitation by their personnel with regard to offer of engagement on ships or by particular companies.

13. We will put in place the procedure to prevent the opportunities for exploitation of seafarers arising from the issue of joining advances or any other financial transaction between the ship owner and the seafarer which are handled by our RPS company.

14. We will ensure that the seafarers are informed of any condition applicable to the jobs for which they are to be engaged and of the particular ship owners' policies relating to their employment.

15. We will ensure that the procedures followed while dealing with cases of incompetence or indiscipline are consistent with the principles of natural justice, the law of the land and practice and with collective bargaining agreement.

16. We will ensure that all mandatory certificates and documents submitted for employment are up to date and have not been fraudulently obtained and that employment references are made.

17. We will ensure that requests for information or advise by families of seafarers while the seafarers are at sea are dealt with promptly and sympathetically and no extra cost to the seafarer.

18. We will verify that the labor conditions on ships where seafarers are placed are in conformity with applicable collective bargaining agreements concluded between a ship owner and a representative of seafarer's organization.

19. We will ensure that the terms and conditions of employment for seafarers comply with the applicable laws or regulations or collective bargaining agreements.

20. We will ensure that the death or disability, compensation are paid by the ship owner without undue delay.

21. We will ensure that a copy of the license granted under these rules is prominently displayed at the premises of the recruitment and placement service at a place accessible to public.

22. We will ensure that the number, date of issue and the validity period of the license will be mentioned in all advertisements published and the license number is mentioned in all our communications.

23. We will ensure that we send the reminder to the Director for our RPS company's annual inspection, three months before its due date and be prepared for the same.

24. We shall furnish a monthly report in Form I by the 12th of every succeeding month in the manner specified by the Director General of Shipping.

25. We will ensure that if the seafarer suffers death or injury, it shall be reported in Form-II in online mode or paper form to the Director Seaman Employment Office., Director General of Shipping within forty-eight hours of such incidents.

26. We shall provide a letter of intent having the name and address of the owner as given in Form VII address of the ship owner to enable Hospitality Crew obtains Indian CDC to work on cruise ship.

27. We will ensure that we make welfare fund contribution for every seafarer engaged on board a foreign flag ship towards welfare fund society on timely basis i.e., The contributions shall be paid by 15th of the month following the end of every quarter. Also records of the payment to be made in registers.

28. We will ensure that contributions to SWFS by Indian Ship Owners for every seafarer engaged by them on Indian Flag ships are made on quarterly basis.

2. We will comply with all mandatory rules and regulations and all applicable international and local laws, regulations, codes, standards and other requirements to which we subscribe that are relevant to safety in our activities, processes and services, mainly, the seafarers management of our vessel under our RPS company, including those related activities, processes, and services that we perform.

3. We will implement and maintain suitable instructions and procedures to assure our compliance with such laws, regulations and other requirements, and encourage such compliance from those organizations having interest in our safety performance and success.

4. We will ensure to identify all potential risks and provide a safer working environment by establishing safeguards to promote safe practices in ship operations.

5. Our Seafarers, Contractors and suppliers are communicated on our Safety policy to ensure their awareness and understanding of our Safety Policy and its commitment. Continual improvement on safety management skills of our personnel ashore and aboard ships, including preparing for emergencies related to safety, by providing regular Training and updates.

6. We will evaluate and continuously improve the effectiveness of our safety management system through periodic audits, management reviews, and by achieving our safety objectives.

We will review this Policy annually for its continuing suitability, in consideration of our safety requirements.
